WHAT DO YOU VALUE THE MOST?

THE MOST VALUABLE POSSESSION!

Ever wonder what God has called you too? Or asked yourself what am I doing for the kingdom of God? Though not every Christian is called into the ministry we are all called to be ambassadors for Christ, to be intercessors in prayer, to share the good news of the gospel of Christ; but aside from that, every mother and father has been given a very valuable gift. Your child/children and how you view them and how you raise them can either help or hinder them

Too often we all can say things that harm our child's self image of themselves. Sometimes we say things in the heat of anger or what we think is humor, but they receive it totally different. When I look back over the years I hear myself thinking "I wasn't a very good mother". Oh I took them to church, I sat up boundaries they could not cross, I guarded what they were allowed to watch and listen to, and I was swift to give correction, they heard me pray and saw me read the bible, but in the crucial years of my youngest what they saw and heard in me was a woman running from God. But they all witnessed me fall greatly, always on the verge of disaster, angry, bitter, self absorbed. Then they witnessed me in repentance, coming back to Jesus, they have seen me struggle, seen my tears, at times they witnessed my self pity, they have seen me walk in faith, seen me walk in victory, and at times appear defeated, yet the enemy will whisper in my ear "You weren't a good mother"! "Because they saw and lived with you in your valley moments"! But they also saw and lived with me in my mountain top moments. Yet, those are words whispered to make us believe we failed, because our children have experienced hard lives, as they have become adults, that we could not change nor are we accountable for. You see no matter how much we desire to protect our children from life choices and experiences we cannot stop them from making wrong choices. But, what are we accountable for? What does God say about raising our children:

Deuteronomy 6:6-7 And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.

Proverbs 23:13 Do not withhold correction from a child, for if you beat him with a rod, he will not die.

(This does not mean we abuse our children)

Proverbs 19:18 Chasten your son while there is hope, and do not set your heart on his destruction

Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it

Ephesians 6:4 And you, fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord.

I remember when my mother was 38 years old and I was 9 years old, her husband and my daddy died. In my heartbreak and fear I came home from the grave and announced "I will not go to church again". My mother instead of saying "no Linda we will continue to go to church". Actually said "Okay" and we didn't, mother was 38 and she did not return to church until at 80 she moved in with me and I took her. My question is "How many mother's and father's have given into their children and said, "Okay, you can stay home, and have either stayed home with them, or just left them at home?" If people were honest it would be a lot. Honestly, part of the reason the generation of today is as it is, is because parents didn't set house rules that our children are to follow, instead we have given in. Part of the training is to teach them God's word as a teacher in the home and by our example. Do they see Jesus as our priority, or do they see us easily put other things first. Do they see us excited to go to church or have the attitude of we must go, but would rather do something else. Many parents believe that it is the church's responsibility to both teach and entertain their children. While there is nothing wrong with Sunday School classes, children and youth ministries, it does not relieve the parents of their God given responsibility, to teach, train,nurture and protect their children .

2 Timothy 1:5 when I call to remembrance the genuine faith that is in you, which first dwelt in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice, and I am persuaded is in you also.

O did I see someone else who has a responsibility also? 

At some point in time Dr Spock began to teach that spanking a child was wrong. Then the government stepped in to stop parents from correcting their children through spanking. It is said that spanking would lead to violent behavior. Hmmmmmm me I think these violent video games and gruesome shows that children are exposed to lead to more violent behavior than a good paddling on the behind. Though we can ground our children if that works better for them, we must set realistic grounding, because it is worse to set too long and not be able to keep it ( my husband wanted to set too long). Also never spank a child in the heat of our anger (did that too often). When we allow our children to be free of any consequences of wrong behavior, unless God intervenes with His saving grace, we will have children grow up with no respect for authority, no respect for their elders and believe they are entitled to whatever pleases them. And here is what the Bible says about those children, as they grow into adulthood:

2 Timothy 3:1-4 But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come; for men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good.

Looks bleak, but we are not without hope. I believe in household salvation, I believe that those who have ran from God into the land of the enemy will return to their own boarders, as promised in Jeremiah 31:16-17 and in Isaiah 43:6 I will say to the north, "Give them up!" And to the south, "Do not keep them back!" Bring My son's from afar and My daughters from the ends of the earth---

I recall that Noah obeyed God built an ark to save his family from the wrath of God. We know that today it is in Jesus that we are saved from the wrath of God. Have we allowed our children to see that who we say we believe in we actually follow. Do they see us pray, do we pray with them, do they see us read the bible, do we read it with them, do they see us overcome in our time to trouble, do they see our faith? Do we make sure they know exactly who Jesus is and what He has done for us.

So in summary while our children are young, train, set boundaries, teach by our words and example, correction when needed. But remember in all we do or have failed to do, as they grow into adulthood they become responsible to accept the gift of life through salvation or reject the gift of life. But never let it be said that we neglected the opportunity while they were still in our homes.

Was I good mother? A good Mamaw? That you would have to ask my children and grandchildren, they have seen me at my best and at my worst. My only hope is they saw my love for Jesus and His love for me. That they know I love them and I pray they walk with Jesus all the days of their life. What a great legacy to leave behind to know, our children, our children's children, and our children's children's children, received everlasting life, loved Jesus and is loved by Him. That makes us older moms and dads heart full.

I encourage you don't allow the enemy to whisper his lies into your ears. But walk with Jesus, and be the parents and grandparents you have been called to be.

I have learned a lot from my mistakes, but when we need to, in humility, ask our children to forgive us when we know we have done wrong.

THE SILENCE IS FALLING

SILENCE WILL FALL

Many of you will not agree nor even like what I am about to say. But I will continue.

There has been a television series out since the 1960's titled Dr. Who. In approximately 2010 some aliens appeared in many episodes, ugly creatures with one purpose "Silence"! They had mingled in with society well, because as soon as someone looked at them and then turned their head, they immediately forgot what they saw. Yet this religious cult (as the director called them) were always behind the scenes doing things to change the course of events so they could do one thing: "Stop prophecy from being fulfilled, through silence"!

Though even in conspiracy theories, there is a mingle of truth with opinions. But there has always been a force, behind the scenes to manipulate and control events in history to bring One World Government, One World Economy and One World Religion, we knew these as the Illuminati, and to Silence God's people, often we would see a shadow of something and then be distracted to look away and forget. Even in Acts in the early church the apostles were beaten, arrested and told "Do not speak of this Jesus anymore", the apostles would ask the church to pray they would have boldness to speak. The believers were persecuted, beaten, tortured, thrown in prison, fed to lions, hung on crosses, beheaded, boiled in oil, burned alive, but they would not be SILENCED!

We have the same enemy as they did; he goes by many names, satan, devil, adversary, great dragon, old serpent, Lucifer. He doesn't operate alone for 1/4 of heavens angels left to follow him and he uses humans as his instruments of destruction. He influences the mind, he manipulates their actions, he oppresses and he possesses.

Today and in years past there is a demonic force pulling strings, today we call it "Deep State"! Deep State seeks to tear down America, to tear down our constitution, to cause America to fall into ruin. Why would they do this you ask? Because then they can come back in and offer to a desperate people their agenda to make it better. But without first bringing in chaos, taking control of the people, and shutting down God's people they cannot fulfill their ultimate agenda. They are attempting to create HELL ON EARTH AND CALL IT A NEW PROMISE LAND!

The word says: 2Thessalonians 2:9-12 The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they would believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

We who are believers are not to be deceived because we know the truth, and the truth has set us free. This time we are in is for the church to awaken, seek God, confess and repent, humble ourselves, and earnestly pray. But too many Christians say they see yet do not see clearly. EVEN THE MASK ARE TO BRING SILENCE! It isn't about safety, good grief people this virus has a better survival rate than the flu! It isn't to stop a spread but to bring us under control! I have read many reports and the majority say cloth masks can cause more harm than good because when we breath we exhale carbon monoxide, surgical mask are for a sterile environment, and the other is to protect from hazardous materials.

Sorry to burst some of your bubbles, but we either walk in faith, trusting ourselves, our health and our families health in Christ Jesus our Lord or we trust in man and walk in fear. Me I choose to walk in faith because I know who my God is and He has never let me down.

But back to The Silence, I have noticed as I go to the grocery store, no one is talking, speaking or laughing. There is a silence you could cut with a knife, and no one wants to make eye contact, even the cashiers don't speak unless they have to. What is happening to the people?

And young children being forced to wear a mask, go to school wearing a mask sitting 6ft apart, no laughter, no real interaction, put up shields, clean, sanitize continually, is that a picture we would want our children to have embedded in their minds, you talk about building a hate for school. And locking the elderly in the nursing homes away from their families, day in and day out cut off from family and family events, missing them, not remembering or understanding why and what is happening. Only a brief visit from their window. Let me say right here "I would rather be exposed and die from COVID 19 than be kept from hugging my children and my grandchildren"!

This virus was manufactured in a lab in China, then rather by accident or on purpose, it was released and carried all across the world. If you thought all of this is a coincidence that it came an spread and grew in America during an election year, if you thought that when we were having a great economy we were told to lockdown, first told cloth masks were no good, then suddenly told to wear them, if you thought race riots, cultural cancel, defund police just happened,  if you thought face masks were for our safety and not part of their control plan, think again. During this time child sex trafficking is being exposed, raids and arrest are being made in: America, Mexico, England, Canada, Australia. We are seeing the real threat to America is not a virus but a liberal mindset that intergrades within gullible people especially those of college age. We are seeing families turning on one another, people losing their jobs because they don't agree with their employer's politics, fighting over a mask, name calling trying to shame one another, one for wearing a mask and one for not wearing a mask. Churches in many places told not to open back up, not to sing, not to praise, not to pray out loud. See SILENCE, no one is allowed a different opinion. Conform to the world or be swallowed up. But the word says "Do not conform to the world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind so we will know the perfect will of God" Romans 12:2. Believer we cannot know the will of God without prayer and remaining in His word.

Matthew 24:7 tells us that nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom. That word nation means "people or ethnic group against ethnic group" kingdom: "the kingdom of darkness against the kingdom of light"!

We are in a kingdom battle, that must take place through prayer. We must not be silent, we must vote according to the biblical principles of God's word, we must speak up and out against evil if we don't we are agreeing with the evil. Church we must be praying, believing and speaking. Because this I know, as I know Jesus, if the Democratic party wins this election and they gain power and control, we will be seeing the removal of God's hand from America. I am praying that God's hand will not be removed from America, and I also know if He removes His hand persecution will come as none before, and with persecution comes a church growth we also haven't experienced before! I understand and believe according to God's word two things are remaining to take place:

1. Revival (God's people)

2. A Great Outpouring (salvation)

Hold fast to your hope, don't allow yourself to be swayed and please don't allow the enemy to silence you. Next time you are out in a store, what do you hear?

Remember there is an unseen force attempting to control the events of this world! And we are being taught to shhhh. But I pray Father give Your people boldness to speak of Jesus, open our eyes that we will not forget, save the children, expose the evil and reveal the lies. In Jesus name Amen

NAME YOUR POISON

Since the fall of man, poison has filled the atmosphere, and has filled the heart of man. Many times it is recorded of the anger and judgment of God that comes upon not only Israel but nations, kingdoms and people. But God had a plan that in the fullness of time He sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law. Deity taking on humanity, that by one man, Adam, sin and death entered the world and by one man, Jesus the Christ, the gift of grace and life came.

Jeremiah 17:9-10 the heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; Who can know it? I, the LORD, search the heart, I test the mind, Even to give every man according to his ways, According to the fruit of his doings.

Isaiah 64:6 But we are all like an unclean thing, and our righteousness are like filthy rags; we all fade as a leaf , and our iniquities , like the wind have taken us away

Psalm 36:1 An orcale within my heart concerning the transgression of the wicked; There is no fear of God before his eyes.

So here we are more than 2,000 years later and the same poison that entered the earth at the Garden of Eden, is still spreading faster and faster throughout the world, and has infiltrated the churches and Christians of today. 

What is your favorite poison?

3. Envy

4. Anger

5. Bitterness

6. Unforgiveness

7. Itchy ears

8. Fornication/Sexual perversion

9. Adultery

10. Rebellion

11. Stubborn

12. Gossip

13. Slander

14. Talebearer

15. Addiction

16. Liar

17. Hypocrite

18. Religious Pharisee

These and many more are poisons not only found in the unbeliever but in the very heart and actions of God's people! These are spots and wrinkles in our garments, these spots are like a canker sore on our mouths that hurts, and burns, and seems to spread, a poison that continues to spread all through us, these wrinkles in our holy garments is where we have allowed ourselves to integrate the world into our beliefs and little by little this worldly thinking become our habits and our mannerisms. In Ephesians chapter 5 it is written God is coming back for a church without spot or wrinkle. Yet, look at us, see how we look. But I love when I read in:

Revelation 19:7 Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.

God will send His Refiner's Fire, our part is to stay in His fire as God refines us. Our part is to both allow God to reveal to us and for us to put off the old man daily and put on the new man daily. Picking up our cross in complete surrender, wholly following Jesus, press on in faith to the upward call of Christ. Stay in prayer, stay in His word, stay faithful to your local church.

Psalm 66:10 & Malachi 3:3

Often times we talk about Christians wearing a mask to hide their true selves from others, to keep their pain, their hurts, their secret sins from others eyes. And it these masks God will take down in His refining fire.

 Today this world is demanding we all wear a mask to keep away a virus. But in the spirit I saw a mask a little differently. We are all called to be warriors in our Lord's army, warriors who fight against the principalities and powers of the air. This spiritual mask I see upon us, is to keep us from breathing in the poison of the prince of this world as he is attacking more and more and to keep the poison of the world out of our lives.

Over and over my heart burns within me, so much that I cannot be silent. We must as we see the day approaching, we must examine our hearts, we must call upon God and seek His presence, build an altar (a spiritual altar) and say "Here I am God consume all that is in me that is not of You and purify all that is in me that is of You."  I have prayed this over and over for years and go to bed at night smelling smoke. God's fire will detox us from our poison and purify our hearts, as He prepares us for revival, that in these last days we will take His presence into a lost and dying world. Do you want to see revival, the wayward come home, the lost saved? It will cost us something, it will cost us surrender and refining.

MEMORIES OF GOD'S GOODNESS

This was actually written in 2014, I found it in something I had saved, thought it was worth sharing.

I am sitting here looking around at the boxes I have packed (to move) see my home is disarray and thinking Lord what is happening? I have moved many times, but each time I have had a place to move to, a home waiting on me to fix up, put my stuff where I want it, enjoy my new surroundings. Yet, this time it is different, I have no home to go to, no place to arrange my beloved stuff, no place that I can enjoy and know I am home.

What has brought me to this moment in time? I had begun to pray "Lord forgive me if I have not really seen You as my provider and my provision, my desire Lord is experience you as my provider and my provision." Three weeks later I find myself about to be homeless.

It is one thing to know that Jesus is enough, that Jesus is your Provider, your Provision, your protector and it is another to experience Him as these things. I had experienced Jesus as my Protector on many occasions and now I am about to experience Him as my Provider, my Provision, FOOTNOTE: "Jesus has been Provider and my Provision for years, but now I will get a real revelation of what that means". All of this is to increase my faith and to prepare me for the destiny He has planned for me.

The word tells us that we walk by faith and not by sight, do you believe that? I do, yet if I can see where I am going is it faith? When the priests carrying the Ark of the Covenant went to cross the Jordon River when did the river part, before or after they got wet? When Noah built the Ark, there was no water, never had rained, he had no idea what a flood was, but by faith he obeyed God and the Word that was spoken to him and he and his family were saved. The word tells us that without faith we cannot please God. So if I desire to please God I ask for my faith to be increased. Asking this will place you in positions that exercise your faith. In other words, your faith will be stretched, think of how you work out and stretch your muscles, to increase my faith it has to be worked and used in many different situations, situations that will require my faith to be activated.

So now I am being stretched, Jesus is showing me who He is and allowing me the privilege of experiencing Him. That as I don't waiver, don't give up though times may be hard I will see the reality of my faith. For I also know that the word says I am not abandoned nor forsaken, that I am loved and secure in Him, His word is real and His word is true. I am not a victim I am victorious.

So you don't get to feeling sorrow for me, until God opens a door of His choosing I will be staying at my daughters, I have said I don't know who I feel sorry for me or her, and then decided it would be her husband. (smiling)

God has His best for me and I will not settle for less out of desperation, and fear. My faith in who He is will encourage me and sustain me during this time. All of this has come about from a series of messages my church is doing entitled "From Death to Life". This upper part I wrote in 2014!

Fast forward to 2018; I was told by my doctor if I wanted to live I must quit my extra job of cleaning homes. I  am chuckling because I just thought of the movie The Terminator when I wrote this.

But I was beyond terrified by not having any control on my income. At that time my Social Security was $825.00 a month! Today 2020 the doctors are astounded that I am alive and the disease they thought would kill me is stable and not spreading, and God has been my Healer, my Provider, my Provision, every step of the way. Praise God for His faithfulness. He has stretched me, and my faith has grown, fear has no place in my life, Amen

LET THE RAIN FALL

FROM  BARREN TO FRUITFUL OR

FROM DRY TO WET

For sometime I have thought about, read about, and prayed about being in a dry and thirsty place. At some point I may have even wrote about it. But this morning here I am doing it again.

Throughout the Bible people of God have spend days and years in a place we often call the "Wilderness", or the "Desert Place"!

So even today God's people will at times find themselves in their own personal wilderness; either lead there by God or by our own making. I believe the church as a whole can also be lead into a season of a dry and thirsty place, barren, dry lack of water and seemingly unfruitful.

What is the purpose of the season of dryness when God leads us, the church, into a time in what seems barren and unfruitful? We find ourselves in a time of His preparation, while here we will find ourselves under His protection and His provision. But let's remind ourselves by traveling back through time.

Abraham called out by God to go to a land he did not know, yet he went though he was only a sojourner in desert places living in tents with his family. Found in Genesis chapter 12 and beyond. Recapped in Hebrews 11:8-9

Joseph forced into a wilderness by jealous brothers: 1. Thrown into a pit, 2. Sold into slavery, 3. Sent to prison, and 4. Prepared for the palace. In Genesis 45:7-8 Joseph tells his brothers "And God sent me before you to preserve a posterity for you on the earth, and to save your lives by a great deliverance (right here do you see Joseph just prophezied of the coming deliverance after spending 400 years in Egypt), So now it was not you who sent me here, but God, and He has made me a father to Pharaoh, and lord of all his house, and a ruler throughout all the land of Egypt." Yet, Joseph did not see this when he was in a pit, a slave, or in prison.

NOTE: God was silent during the 400+ years the children of Israel spent in Egypt not a word until Moses!

Oh let's not forget Moses; Moses raised in a palace, ran to the wilderness, the back side of the desert at 40 years of age, spent 40 years in the wilderness and then he had a burning bush encounter. Then God sent him back to Egypt to lead God's people out of slavery. Exodus 2:15

The Hebrew nation spent 40 years in the wilderness, just to get Egypt out of them. Numbers 13 & 14 records this for us. Here we find the why they spent 40 years in the wilderness!

King David, anionted by God to be king of Israel, yet had to continually flee and hide from Saul into wilderness areas 1Samuel 23:14

Many times prophets would and even today find themselves in a dry, barren place, depending on God and His guidance. Prophets are the mouthpiece for God, they must be aware, yet not consumed by all that is going on around them, God places them in isolation for a time, that they may learn to hear and identify His voice, they come to a wayward people of God (even today) and they speak the truth of God's word to a people/person/nation about the sin of rebelling against God, it is rebellion because they have turned from God to seek worldly pleasures, they have left the narrow path God places us on and allowed ourselves to both mix God and the world and compromise the truth with lies. Let's consider the prophet Elijah; man of God, that at his words the heavens were shut up from receiving rain and dew for 3 years. A drought came upon the land, crops died and waterways dried up, people found no food and no water to feed and refresh themselves. But as this began, God sent Elijah into a area (by the Brook Cherith), to hide him away and to provide for him during this 3 year drought."1Kings 17:6 the Ravens brought him bread in the morning & meat in the evening; and he drank from the Brook." Then the Brook dried up and God sent him into Zarephath because God had prepared the heart of a widow woman to receive him and to provide for him. Because he obeyed and went and she obeyed and gave all she had, God made sure they were both sustained during this barren time. 

NOTE: God will use people, today, to fulfill His plan to provide for others and as we know that throughout God's word that when we obey God and we give where and to who God says to give both the giver and the receiver are blessed. 

But this was chapter 17 and God was preparing Elijah for chapter 18.

Mount Carmel was in his future, please read all of chapter 18 because it is after the Mount Carmel victory that a cloud appears and the rain comes. But also comes chapter 19, and Elijah desires to die.

With the last book of the Old Testament, Malachi, we see that once more God is silent for 400+ years. Not one word from God, until John the Baptist and Jesus the Christ were born.

John the Baptist, the forerunner to Jesus, who came in the spirit of Elijah, came out of the wilderness to preach repentance and water baptism, he came to announce the Messiah had come. Matthew 3:1-6

Jesus the Son of God lead into the wilderness by the spirit for 40 days to be tempted by the devil. Matthew 4:1

The Apostle Paul at his conversion spent 3 years in the Arabian desert to be taught by Christ Himself. Galatians 1:17, in fact read the whole of chapter 1.

There are times we feel alone waiting on a move of God in our lives and our land, a time of it seems it will never rain that heavenly rain in our lives or in our churches, our cities, our nation. Just waiting to hear from God! Waiting for the promise of that revival rain, that rain that will revive, restore, replenish the thirsty. That rain that will bring salvation and reconciliation, bring a renewed spirit within us. 

The silence from God's word among a nation unwilling to hear, a church unwilling to proclaim, a people unwilling to listen.

Yet there is a remnant, in the body of Christ that are hungry, thirsty, being prepared to receive revival, being prepared to be sent and are willing to go. Calling out to God, "Speak O Lord Your servant is listening", "Here am I send me"!

We have been in a spiritual season of dryness, for many years. Locked away to be prepared to receive and go. Revival we crave yet it is the very presence of God we crave more. Oh God, we are a hungry and thirsty people in need of You. We need God and we need His Word throughout us, our churches our nation our world, for our King is coming make yourselves ready.

Revival will not come upon a prayerless people, nor will it come on a church who has turned from the truth of God's word to walk in the ruins of this world. We can miss our time of visitation, because we did not watch and pray. America does not know God as the whole counsel of His word reveals, nor is there any fear of God. But there is coming an end to this drought from His word, a drought from His presence. For He is about to reveal Himself to His remnant churches who are seeking an encounter with our Holy God. Years ago in my time of prayer I asked "Father what will revival look and sound like?" He replied "The music will stop, the preachers can't preach, the altar will be full of weeping and laughing in joy, they will weep in conviction and rise rejoicing"! Oh how I long for that day to come. My pastor has been preaching on it is through prayer and by the word that revival will come so I searched the word in the scripture he gave, 2 Kings 22-23

In chapter 22, while under King Josiah they began to restore the temple and found the Book of the Law that had not been read, they brought it before the king (did not check to see how long it has been since the people had heard and read the Book of the Law) but when king Josiah heard it, it is recorded in 2 Kings 22:11 "he tore his clothes," this was an act of repentance. Upon hearing the word the king and the people fell under conviction and repentance. The same is true in Nehemiah when in building the wall and once more restoring the temple, they again found the Book of the Law, and they gathered all the people, young and old and in Nehemiah 8:6 the people responded the only way one could by hearing of the holiness of God, "they lifted up their hands, bowed their heads and worshipped".

In verse 9 we read "that all the people wept, when they heard the word of the Law."

Throughout the church age there have been times of great revivals; revivals that turned communities, cities and towns upside down. People falling to their knees in a holy fear of a holy God, just at the hearing of the word, people on the streets had an encounter with God and right there they fell under conviction and repentance and in faith gave their lives to Jesus. Oh that God in His grace and in His mercy will move again among us, His people, sending a God given revival upon a hungry and thirsty people. And people everywhere will be brought into the kingdom by the presence of God moving inside and beyond reaching out to all. Oh how I could go on and on, but I will close with two scriptures:

Amos 4:7-8 I also withheld rain from you, When there were still three months to harvest. I made it rain on one city, I withheld rain from another city. One part was rained upon , And where it did not send rain it withered. So two or three cities wandered to another city to drink water, But they were not satisfied; Yet you have not returned to me says the LORD.

Amos 8:11 Behold, the days are coming, says the LORD GOD, That I will send a famine on the land, Not a famine of bread, Nor a thirst for water, But the hearing the words of the LORD.

America and the freedom of worship we have had for more than 200+ years has fallen into a position of not believing in God, no fear of God, mocking and laughing at God, and at Jesus, declaring to be godly yet denying the work of the Holy Spirit. We have become in many places, churches that fail to teach and preach the absolute truth of God's word, instead it is watered down least it offend the people and the world, it has allowed a demonic spirit of muteness to come in and silence our voices, deafen our ears to the truth, because we prefer opinions over truth, and itchy ears seeking a tickling versus the sound teaching. Oh see how far we have fallen, from going out into the highways and byways making known the goodness of God through our words and our lives, settling on our pastors to do it all, while we walk in and walk out and continue on as if the world is okay and so are we.

The prophets prophesized The Messiah is coming, the church confirmed Jesus is here and we are to go forth announcing "He's coming, Jesus is coming, Hope came as a baby, our Redeemer died as a Lamb, rose from the dead as our High Priest and be ready for our King the Lion of the Tribe of Judah is on His way"!!!!!

LET OUR ARROWS FLY

 Arrows have many meanings; but the one I am using is that arrows are used to attack the enemy. 

Jeremiah 50:14 Put yourselves in array against Babylon all around, All you who bend a bow; Shoot at her, spare no arrows, For she has sinned against the LORD.

WHO IS OUR ENEMY? Our enemy is ANY who come against God, God's people, and the nation that is established on God's principals. We who wholly follow Christ Jesus our Lord, are warriors, soldiers in the Lord's army, we see evil as it approaches because we have discernment, we do not become engaged with the affairs of this world, we stand the post God has placed us on and WE STAY ALERT! We do not leave where we have been planted even if we have to stand alone.

Too many have left their posts, they got weary, got offended, got lazy, was overcome with the world affairs, and they found themselves moving further away from God because they left God's people and left their post.

The word tells us we are living in perilous times, families are suffering, relationships are broken, instead of people running to the church house they are running from the church house, fear, anger, disease, hate, murder of the innocent increases, people are dying, the world is burning, our enemy is rejoicing and the posts are empty.

God is calling His church to be His arrows sent out against our common enemy. We do not wrestle against flesh and blood we wrestle against the forces of darkness in the atmospheres around us. The enemy may shoot his darts into our minds, Oh but we, HIS CHURCH, shoot arrows into the darkness to destroy the plan and works of our enemy.

What are these arrows we shoot, you ask? It's our words, the truth of God's word, it is remaining diligent in prayer, fighting in the spirit realm against the wiles of the devil, who is roaming around seeking who he may devour. It is remaining steadfast in our post where God has planted us, not giving in or giving up, not being one who quits when it gets rough and our flesh wants to run away from the battle. It is crying when no one sees, yet getting back up to pray again, it's wanting to scream because it seems no one is listening, but we keep praying, we stand your watch! 

You declare from your heart through your mouth "Not on my watch, devil, you have no power, no authority over me, my family, my church family, my pastors and their families, my community, my work place, my city, my nation. You, devil are no more than an uncircumcised Philistine who has come to mock my God and God's people, I see who you are whispering your lies into the ears of weak Christians, but you see what I hold, I hold the keys of the kingdom of God, I have the Sword of God's word, I am covered with the blood of Jesus, I am called to be a warrior for such a time as this and my quiver is full of arrows and my God has trained me how to use His arrows to stop you, devil, in your tracks. No power of darkness takes a hold of me or my family or my church or my city or my nation because my God has trained my fingers for war. So bring it on devil let's see what you got, cause I got all of heaven on my side. Right there is my declaration of war against the wiles of the devil. I fight in prayer, and I fight in my declarations. How about you, how do you fight?

Time to decide, are you going to fight and stand your post, or are you going to slip quietly away in the darkness of the night.

He's coming, He's coming, do you see it do you feel it? Are you ready? Is your family ready? Are your neighbors ready? Is your church house ready? 

There is a REVIVAL COMING, but it comes through travailing in prayer as a woman in labor and it will birth that which God has ordained in these days we are in. Where are the prayer warriors the intercessors who are willing to travail in prayer?

1 Corinthians 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the the Lord.

Galatians 6:9 And do not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart

Ephesians 6:11-13 I am only writing one

Ephesians 6:13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand

Philippians 4:6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.

Hebrews 6:11-12a And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end, that you do not become sluggish....

1 Peter 5:8-9a Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith.....

2 Timothy 2:3-4 You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier 

So many, many more scriptures flood my thoughts that this post could not contain them all. So allow the Holy Spirit to remind you of scriptures in both the Old and New Testament of remaining faithful, committed, fight the good fight, endure, persevere, watch and pray.

The only real way to fight against the darkness that is swiftly coming against us, is remaining on our posts, praying the word of God, remain faithful and diligent. And do our part; humble ourselves, seek God, turn from our wicked ways, pray, teach truth, walk in faith, keep pressing in and keep pressing forward, discern the spirits that are operating around us, is it the spirit of demons or the Spirit of God. Vote the core values of God's standard. Keep our focus on Jesus, for we have this Hope, He is coming again and the bride has made herself ready. 

Revelation 19:7 Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.
