WHAT IS THE TRUTH?

Many will think this is a political post, and perhaps it could be. Some will agree and some will not agree and that is okay with me. 

The major problem in America has been escalating over years and years; it began when political correctness took all references to the One true Living God out of our education systems, out of the workplace (I remember 30 years ago the company I worked for said we could not talk about God or Jesus to others), out of government and state buildings. 

Then the political correctness, began to promote other religions above Christianity, gave them special prayer times in the school system that even our children did not have. I remember a time when sin was sin, according to God's word, and I understood that what was done in the privacy of ones home (sexual immorality) was no one's business. But then political correctness, began to promote and celebrate sin, that even now adultery and premarital sex as well as homosexuality is thought okay according to man's standards. Yet God's word speaks differently about these types of sins as well as all types of sins. We have over time mislabeled love and called it tolerance, even saying Jesus loves. Yes, Jesus loves ALL, He died for ALL, His gift of everlasting life is for ALL. But nowhere in scripture does it say God nor Jesus condone sin, in fact when Jesus was confronted with the woman caught in the very act of adultery, after confronting her accusers, He looked at her and said "neither do I condemn you, go and sin no more"! Many when reading this biblical account only see "neither do I condemn you" and stop right there. When the church begin to water down God's Truth by making it more pleasing to its listeners?

At no time in God's word does it say "God accepts sin", truth is God cannot have fellowship with sin, because He is a Holy God. Adam and Eve lost fellowship with God when they sinned by listening to Satan and not obeying God. But God knew they would sin, because it is written:

Revelation 13:8b ......Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

And here is what we find in:

Romans 5:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

The sin planted in Adam and Eve caused all to be partakers of their sin, a death sentence was passed and something had to die, two things died 1. Their spirit died, breaking fellowship with God (our spirit is quickened (made alive) at our conversion. 2. God, Himself, provided an immediate animal sacrifice that became their atonement.

Yet, God saw far beyond that, He saw the day He would send His Son to take upon Himself the sins of the world, and in a brief moment because of the sins placed on Jesus at the cross, God turned and looked away from His Son. But we have this verse:

Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

That's God's grace and His mercy, not earned by our works but accepting Christ Jesus and His finished work to reestablish fellowship with God the Father on our behalf. Salvation by grace is never an excuse to keep on living a lifestyle of sin.

Romans 6:1-2 What shall we say then? Shall we continue to sin that grace may abound? Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?

This word and so many more clarifies God's forever view of sin. God does not lie and God is the same yesterday as today. This world we live in views sin and values people based on a world view and not a biblical view. Babies in their mother's womb have no value to life, if a mother decided to terminate her pregnancy. The disabled and elderly have no value to contribute to society unless you are part of the elites in society. How did we get to this place as a nation, or for that matter the whole world. America as I said in the beginning has been on downward spiral since it's foundation, and we have, in my lifetime, moved downward faster and faster. Even Christians have been deceived by part truths and out right lies. We cannot ban God and Jesus out of our or any other nation and expect God to bless the nation, that has no biblical foundation and you can read it over and over again as God raised up prophets to call His people, His nation to repent and turn back to God, if not judgment would come. Judgment comes by way of first weather conditions, economical conditions, and finally an invasion of an enemy army from other lands, or in some cases an enemy of the people rising up in power over the people, that lead them further and further away from God. Israel had wicked kings and good kings, do you not realize that we in America can have both wicked and good government leaders. As a Christian we recognize the wicked from the good by how far away they lead the people from God's holy standard, and spewing the lies of Satan to cause the people to believe what they are saying is for the good of all. And everyday I see how deceived even God's people can be.

How does the church handle the moral decay happening, even in the house of God? When a church becomes as the world, supporting and integrating sinful lifestyles into the ministry, then they are apostates and you need to leave immediately, because Jesus has left and wrote Ichabod across the doorframe of the building. In Jesus day He had the religious leaders, the Pharisees, who had taken God's law and perverted it to meet their personal doctrine. Making heavy burdens on God's people. Since Jesus founded the church religiosity began to demand from the believers that were not required by God the Father nor Jesus our Lord. Dictators can lead anyplace, in government, in business, and yes in God's house.

Relationship with Jesus Christ, and His indwelling Spirit in us will teach and guide us in our daily lives, as we place our faith, our trust, our hope, our love in Him each day; surrendered to His will, and His way, not our will our way. That surrender is called dying to self and living for Christ. It isn't easy but the reward coming as we grow in Christ is worth it all. A relationship is two sided, we desire to spend time in prayer as He desires to spend time with us, we desire to feast on the meat of His word and He desires for us to eat and be nourished by His life given word and we desire to gather with God's people as He desires us to gather.

Yet, many have become complacent in their time spent with God, in His word, and even in gathering together, choosing to stay home, or they come in and go out unchanged by the word spoken, comfortable with even the little sins in their lives. Has our love for Jesus become cold, has life dealt us such a blow we refuse to see the goodness and faithfulness of God bring poured out on us everyday.

Many quote this scripture:

2 Chronicles 7:14 if My people, who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and heal their land.

Who is God addressing "His people, all those who declare they are followers of Jesus Christ and the One True Living God". Why, because we can see even now the WORLD DOES NOT CARE! And Christians are praying, seeking God and yet many have failed to humble themselves; this means they recognize themselves as who they are in presence of a Holy God, and they have failed to turn from their wicked ways, they haven't repented from their ongoing sins, because they are deceived to believe since the world accepts their sins so does God. And we wonder why our country is getting worse and not better.

When we read the letters to the seven churches found in Revelation, spoken directly by Jesus and written by John's hand; we can read and see that those letters are as applicable for the church, the believers, of 2022 as it was then. 

So here is the Truth as seen across the world, but for me especially in America. If I had time I could give you scripture upon scripture to confirm the following:

1. We are witnessing the moral decay, and the greed of the elite being played out before us.

2. We are and have been seeing lawlessness spreading its fires of hate and culture control that desires to destroy and not build up.

3. We are witnessing seeing cities, towns, states, families, friends, churches, and a whole nation being divided on many factors that both government and the media has set before us, for this one purpose. 

4. We are witnessing churches who have the form of godliness but denying its power

5. We are witnessing those in power attempting to bring control upon the people, controlling our money and how we spend it, promoting a cashless society. Controlling our personal lives by spreading fears unfounded but on "what if". Taking away our liberties, our freedom to gather, to speak, to worship our Lord.

6. We are witnessing an alliance being formed with those countries mentioned in Ezekiel 38, that will come against Israel. And the latest the invasion of Russia to take complete control of the Ukraine, this will give them a major oil control victory and a threat beyond the boarders of the Ukraine but also into America.

All of the above is to usher in the Antichrist, to form a One World Government, a One World Religion and a One World Economy.

The Truth is this, Jesus said "I am coming again"! And with His coming He will catch away His bride, who has made herself ready, to save us from the pouring out of God's wrath among the nations. So all who have taken the time to read this long post, HAVE YOU MADE YOURSELF READY TO MEET JESUS IN THE AIR? Many think they know Jesus, yet, they only know of Him and many will hear these words from Jesus, "I never knew you, depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!" Written in Matthew 7:23. 

We God's people are in need of a move of God in our lives and within His church. Jesus we need a revival that will bring us back to You, this revival has a byproduct of salvation that will reach outside the church house and into the community. I am looking forward to that day, when Sunday morning service is suddenly changed to a marvelous revival.

WHOSE VOICE ARE YOU LISTENING TO?

HAVE HOPE, JESUS WILL HELP YOU

Sometimes I wonder, why do I think the way I do? Why can I see or hear something even in the secular and it takes me to scripture. Here I am at 74 and I still can not unsee the word of God. I see on social media things, memes people posts and they sound good, but they are twisted and in the twisting the truth is changed. I find I want to correct, but trying not to anymore, people don't appreciate that. LOL

I often wonder how many Christians truly understand who our enemy is and how he operates?  Deceived into thinking, he is already in Hell or can cause a Christian no harm. Yet, he can't possess us but he can oppress us in our minds, he can whisper his filthy lies, his lying darts into our thoughts. Now that one we need to learn, what is our own flesh speaking our wants, our way, our stubbornness; what are Satan's demonic thoughts entering in to either tempt us or plant his lies to bring doubt of God and an offense of others and to make us feel unwanted, unloved and useless, condemning us by making us feel guilty; then there is when Jesus speaks, He never condemns but He will bring conviction, He never goes against His written word, He speaks His instructions and He expects our immediate obedience. The very thing I enjoy the most is just sitting in His presence not really talking but knowing His presence is with me because I am at peace. Like right now as I am writing it's like He watching everything I am typing and that's what I want.

Satan and his demons are very real, they are pursuing those in hopes of devouring them. Satan is known by many names: the old dragon, our adversary, the deceiver, devil and more. But at one time he was a created angel created to serve God. In Isaiah it speaks of him and his fall, because of his pride, his 5 "I will". Then in Ezekiel 28:13-19 we have a description of the beauty of his creation by God and again the account of his fall. When he was cast out of heaven he took with him 1/3 of the angels, known as the fallen angels, worded more accurately "Demons". Like a military Satan is their commander and chief and there are very specific things that his army of demons specialize in.

Though we live in a fallen world, sickness and disease can come into our lives in many ways, consequences of our making, being around someone who is sick and catching it from them, hereditary, unknown reason and some infirmity sent by the spirit of infirmity.  Yet, in all that Jesus is still our Healer.

Offense can come on us when we get our feelings hurt, and we dwell on what we perceived another did or didn't do, or said or didn't say. A spirit of offense quickly comes to speak his deception into our ears and thoughts. His sole purpose is to divide and separate, to stop the move of God. Many years ago I was watching a child's cartoon "My Little Pony", a character on there all the ponies did not want around was this serpent looking character by the name of Discord, his purpose was to bring arguments among the ponies ushering in strife and division in the land. There you go a perfect example of a demon called "the spirit of discord", active in families, among friends, in churches, and in a nation. Can you see it?

Depression is very real, sometimes it is hormonal, some physical issue that can be treated by counseling and medication. Then there is always a spirit of depression who brings along his side kick the spirit of suicide. These two demonic spirits desire to isolate its victims and filling their minds with things that are not what God thinks about them, but could be old memories from even childhood much wrong perception of what was said. And then the enemy will send lying deceiving thoughts to bring their victim even deeper into depression, as mentioned in earlier writing above.

Then I watched just recently the last episode of an old TV series. But it was about a small group of people who could see beyond the natural and recognize demonic creatures, and worked as a team to destroy. Oh by the way demons cannot be killed, but they have to bow and leave at the name of Jesus. Yet, there was some truth about how demons operate, one in particular. The spirit of despair; the show established a scene, where the victim was taken mentally and in their mind they were found in a courtroom with their accuser, reminding them of all their past sins, over and over again until the victim was in such despair and so distraught, that in their mind people were shouting "he deserves to die", still in his mind suddenly  the room was empty a noose was hanging in front of him, one last time his accurser said "you know what to do"! The victim could not hear his friends shouting at him as he began to put the noose around his neck (still in his mind, but very real to him) until this one voice reached him with these simple words "do not give up on hope". This secular scene is exactly how a demonic spirit works today. To isolate, to take the mind captive, to accuse, to beat down, to bring one into a valley of despair, to bring up the past and condemn, and say "your only way out is to die", but it only takes one person to come in and speak HOPE, our hope is found in Jesus, who never condemns, if we are a Christian all our past sins have been forgiven and forgotten by God the Father, Jesus God the Son and the Holy Spirit. I have a new name to cast out in prayer when I need to. Because the spirit of despair goes beyond depression, it goes to that place where suicide comes. So the spirit of depression does not operate with just the spirit of suicide, he operates also with the spirit of despair. Know how to pray against demonic spirits that are as active today as they were in Jesus day. There are many other names I will not get into.

Satan and his demons, do not have all authority, no they have limited authority and as for a believer they only have what we allow them to have in our lives and our thoughts. My pastor once said that these darts of Satan into our minds are like concrete blocks, and as we dwell and accept them we add mortar to each thought until we build a wall that holds our mind prisoner. The scripture tells us not to give the devil an opportunity to come in. We do this by guarding our thoughts making certain we recognize the lie because we stay in the word and recognize the truth, what we listen to, what we watch, how we speak. Proverbs 18:21 death and life are in the power of the tongue and what we say we will eat.

Guard the gateways to our inner man. 

This scripture was what I went to after I saw that about the spirit of despair. Pay attention to how  certain words are put together

2 Corinthians 1:8-9 For we do not want you to be ignorant brethren, of our trouble which came to us in Asia; that we were burdened beyond measure, above strength, so that we despaired even of life. Yes we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves but in God who raises the dead.

Did you see it? "They despaired even of life", "they had the sentence of death in ourselves", but look where they put their Hope in God and who God is.

One more spirit I wanted to mention, because when I heard its name I recalled something my pastor once said .

Hell is always hungry and the church doesn't even want to eat. Comes from Isaiah 5:14. Hell is hungry for souls, and her mouth is opened wide. But the church is so complacent many are content not to go any deeper with Christ. Sunday morning is enough. So now we see the spirit of hunger, as recorded and revealed in 1 Peter 5:8 tells us the devil is walking around like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour.

This didn't start out as being a blog post, but just a journal of what I was seeing. In fact I had made the decision not to do another blog post. I guess God had other ideas because I knew He was working in this. For who and why I do not know.
